Jad Barghouti, a senior at Grayson High School, is an exceptional and highly capable individual. His strong commitment to academics and extracurricular activities is evident through the numerous leadership positions he holds at Grayson.

As the Vice President of Medical Education and Advocacy at Volta Community Development Inc., Jad plays a critical role in overseeing medical initiatives. His leadership extends across various school organizations, where he serves as the Founder of Relay for Life, President of Future Health Professionals, President of the Muslim Students Association, Founder of Model UN, and Vice President of Sports and Data Analysis.

Outside of school, Jad is deeply involved in community service, making impactful contributions to the Georgia Islamic Institute and the Madina Institute. His dedication to healthcare is further demonstrated through his participation in FAST-CAR Cancer Research, the Teens in Health Internship, oncology shadowing, and fundraising efforts for cancer patients.

Jad’s hard work and dedication have earned him several prestigious honors, including being named a 2024 QuestBridge National College Prep Scholar, receiving the 2024 Georgia Certificate of Merit, earning recognition as an AP Scholar with Distinction, and consistently ranking in the Top 10 at his school for four consecutive years. His remarkable achievements and deep involvement in both academic and community spheres underscore his exceptional leadership and dedication to making a meaningful impact.
